Official Bio | Unofficial Bio

Official Bio:

Leslee comes to Brand | Cool with more than 15 years in account service and client management with marketing communications and strategic branding firms, with much of that tenure at Saatchi & Saatchi. What she cares most about is listening to the client’s challenges, really understanding their objectives and finding the right way to meet those needs within budget and timeframe constraints.

Before joining Brand | Cool, she was an Account Group Director with MRA (now EMA) in Syracuse, managing and growing the Motorola Enterprise Mobility business. She has also worked for internationally acclaimed brand consultancy, SHR Perceptual Management, working with leading brands like Coca-Cola’s Dasani water and Peterbilt Worldwide, as well as helping Clint Eastwood develop the brand platform and strategic marketing approach to launch Tehama—the last, developable tract of rare and unspoiled land in Carmel, California.

She was also Assistant Media and Public Relations Director for Medalist Sports, which was later acquired by Turner Sports, and is a published journalist and broadcast producer.

As an accomplished athlete, she was a former member of the United States Women’s Cycling Team, and has medals from the World Cycling Championships and U.S. national championships. She was voted Colorado Cyclist of the Year and elected to the U.S. Olympic Committee and served for many years on the Committee and various sub-committees. A former certified ski instructor working in the Colorado Rockies, Leslee has run four marathons and at one time held the Ohio State short course record for the 100-yard butterfly.

She graduated from Skidmore College with a BA in English and Political Science. She is married and has an eight-year-old daughter and a cat, Pumpernickel.

A duck went to a store and asked the store owner “Do you have any grapes?” The store owner replied: “No.” So the duck left. The next day, the duck returned and asked the store owner “Do you have any grapes?” Again, the store owner answered “No.” The third day, the duck came in and asked the store owner “Do you have any grapes?” to which the store owner replied “No, and if you ask again, I will staple your beak to the floor.” The following day, the duck came into the store and asked the store owner, “Do you have any staples?” When the store owner said “No,” the duck then asked, “Do you have any grapes?”
